Ralitza Petrova

Filmmaking Masterclass

Ralitza Petrova studied Film and Video art at the University of the Arts London (UAL), and later Fiction Directing at the British National Film and Television School (NFTS). Her films have won acclaim at major film festivals around the world, including Cannes, Berlin, and Locarno. In 2016, her debut feature GODLESS premiered at Locarno Film Festival, where it won four awards, amongst them the Golden Leopard for Best Film. The film has received a total of twenty-seven major awards, and was nominated for an European Discovery 2017 – Prix FIPRESCI award by the European Film Academy.
Petrova is a 2019 fellow of the DAAD Aritist-in-Berlin Program, where she is developing her next two feature film projects.

Paul Tyler

Map Story Logic – Handling Ideas Workshop

Paul works within the corporate, public & cultural sectors.
Nominated for a BAFTA (2005), BBC Creativity Award (2004) and Association of Online Publishers award (2005), Paul went on to win the Prix Jeunesse (2006) web award for the BBC’s flagship cross-media show, BAMZOOKi, the show he originated, studio directed and produced. In 2006 he moved from London to Copenhagen where building on twelve years of BBC television & digital production experience,he worked with international companies to develop concepts.
Paul co-setup the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology’s Digital Concept Development graduate programme in 2010. Paul holds a BSc. (Hons) Physiology with the History and Theory of Art & Design.

Selin Karli

Festivals, Sales and Distribution.The Big Picture Mythbusted Workshop

Selin received her BA in Communications from Pepperdine University and her MFA in Producing from the AFI Conservatory. She worked independently as Festivals Coordinator in Istanbul. Between 2014-2018, she worked at Se-Yap Film Producer’s Association of Turkey as a Project Manager for NEW TURKISH FILMS, in promotion of Turkish Cinema. She also worked as international co-production coordinator on Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s THE WILD PEAR TREE and later as acquisitions consultant for Pantaflix AG. In April 2019, she joined Pluto Film.

Maria Tânjală

Introduction in Blockchain Technology Workshop

Maria Tanjala is a former film producer and line producer, now the co-founder of FilmChain, based in London. FilmChain (filmchain. co) is the first automatic fintech service that collects, allocates and analyses revenues for film, TV, and digital content on the blockchain. The founders won “Blockchain Founder of the Year” UK Tech Founder Awards 2018 and “’Best Woman-led Investment in Innovation” UKBAA Awards 2019. Clients using the platform end-to-end include Council of Europe Eurimages, Golden-Globe winning producers and numerous funds. The startup is financed by the UK government. Imperial College and University of Toronto are their tech partners.

Adelina Dabu

Introduction in Design Thinking Workshop

Adelina Dabu is a public affairs and sustainability expert. With over 7 years experience in the oil&gas and FMCG industries, she is now a Public Policy & International Affairs Senior Adviser with Concordia Employers’ Organization in Bucharest, Romania. She is in charge of public affairs strategy and implementation, corporate communications, EU affairs and liaison with BusinessEurope and IOE, with a particular interest in the future of work and digitalization.
Adelina is also design thinking facilitator, co-founder of the Bucharest Design Jam, shaper with the Global Shapers Bucharest Hub and Climate Reality Leader. She generally gets involved in projects on sustainability, arts and civic participation.
