BIO
Nefeli Rapti was born in Ioannina, Greece. She studied Greek Philology in the National and Capodistrian University in Athens and in Aarhus University in Denmark. She holds a degree in film studies at the University Paris VIII, Saint Denis-Vincennes. Since 2010 she has been working as an assistant director and script supervisor in features and short films. Her short film script ”1969” participated at the International Interfilm Script Pitch Competition in 2015 and was awarded with ”Special Mention”. She is currently in pre-production for a short film titled ”What the fire left me”, which was funded by the Greek Film Center.

Anna constantly dreams that she is an encaged animal, one that its vigor is fading away. She doesn’t like to sleep anymore. Perhaps sleep deprives her time or existence. Or does it point out the feelings she tries to submerge? Her recurrent, mundane life will be shaken when she meets a person from her past. She will confide in him her inmost thoughts and fears. Is it time to make the dream come true?
