PROJECT THERE’S NO DAY LIKE A SUMMER DAY
The idea came from an assignment in directing class, during the second year of college, called “the first time”. I had a pretty clear picture in my mind: a girl who goes pool swimming for the first time with her high school colleagues. It may seem quite banal or superficial, but for my main character, Maya, this turns out to be a difficult experience because she feels ashamed of her body. So when it comes to bathing in front of the other high school kids, things get even worse.
