Young filmmakers who have an ongoing short film project can apply starting Monday, August 8, to the first edition of FILM +, a project that offers workplace, consultancy and support for short film projects.
The program aims to bring together resources and expertise within a collaborative platform that supports filmmakers. Along with the partners and tutors involved in the FILM + network, the program will support each selected project according to its specific needs and the state it is at the time of the application.
Whether it is scenario development, production or post-production consultancy, the organizers will discuss the needs of each project with the selected filmmakers and help them access specialists and resources to kick-start the project. The program will offer several types of support: mentoring and consultancy with specialists, guided by the needs of the project; access to resources such as equipment, team, post-production; connection with industry professionals.
The call is open to cinematographic short films of any genre (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental), provided that the duration of the film does not exceed 40 minutes.
Applications are made by filling in an online form on the FILM + website by August 23, 2016.
FILM + was born out of a desire to establish a framework for networking and support in the cinema industry. The program is initiated by the Graphis Association 122, co-financed by the National Center of Cinematography Romania in partnership with CINETIC and Papillon Film, as well as with a number of specialists involved in the mentoring program.
