Born in Curtea de Argeș (RO), she studied Political Science and then Film Directing. First approaching the visual arts through photography, in time, her interest and curiosity shifted towards film and cinematography. She graduated in 2021 from the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. During her studies she directed short films that were awarded in national and international festivals. ”Fragmentations”, her latest short film, was shortlisted for the Bafta Student Awards and received a Special Mention at TIFF 2022, also received a nomination in the Young Hope category at the Gopo Awards. She is currently developing her first feature film script.

A divorced mother tries to manage her responsibilities during a charity trip to the Ukrainian border with an ex-boyfriend. She tries to find purpose on the frontier of a war that doesn’t belong to her, but scares her less than her own war.
